These magnificent elk deer can be seen near the side of the road near the golf course, national parks, and picnic areas. The best way to spot them is to drive early in the morning or late afternoon.

This is a day excursion and although you may see many pretty sites along the way there is no guarantee when it comes to photographing animals. I will however give you some tips in photography if that magical moment comes your way.
