Short family hike to cliffs of Mount Kidd 2km
GALATEA does not open during the winter months. The trails are very
sensitive and sometimes the trails do not open till the third week in
June.
After crossing back over to the left of the river at bridge 5, the creek drops over a pretty waterfall. At around the 2km mark, the trail crosses several runoff channels coming off the cliffs of Mount Kidd to the right of the trail.
Look carefully for large landslide boulders where one can find paths up
the cliffs of Mount Kidd. to see views of other mountain ranges.
