PEYTO LAKE  BANFF NATIONAL PARK

This lake is 0.6km from the parking lot. Near the lookout tower their is a trail downhill 2.5km to the bottom of the lake. The first part of trail down to the lake is steep. The second part is very steep. This trail is not recommended for novice hikers.

Once you are at the bottom it is a very steep climb back up.
